The touch controlled ceramic hob Kernau KHC 6411 has 4 Hi-Light cooking zones which allow the hob to reach maximum power within a short time. The heat indicator will display a visible “H” at the specific cooking zone to warn as long as the hob has not cooled down enough. This reduces the risk of possible burns resulting from touching the hot surface of the ceramic hob. The user can take advantage of as many as 9 power levels. The AUTO-STOP function turns off the appliance if the ceramic hob has not been used for a while or when the food boils over onto the control panel or if the appliance overheats. This prevents the hob from possible damages. The Child Lock function is the safety system designed for families with little children because it makes the changing of settings and operation of the hob by children impossible.
